Today I leave Brisbane but I also leave behind my family and friends I've enjoyed catching up with over the last few months. I've had so many great adventures over the last 2 months and sucked up every bit of shopping time (yes my suitcase is over loaded). It's always a sad and happy time when we leave as I get to go home and sleep in my own bed and be "home" again and enjoy the down time of living in the outback. Miss Bumpkin and Master Slicker have the most beautiful bond that breaks my heart a little watching them kiss and cuddle each other goodbye as they have the most amazing fun together. Luckily for modern technology and FaceTime we can keep in touch.
On the home front we unfortunately return to mouthfuls of flies and the region still praying for rain but it's home so I can't wait! So I'm escaping the low that's going to bring copious amounts of rain to south east Queensland and returning to the dry dusty outback, I'm just hoping that there's still some green grass left to gaze at for the next week or two.
Thanks for memories Brisbane!
